About Cornish Soccer Skills

Cornish Soccer Skills was set up by Marcus Smith to help local children improve their football skills and knowledge of the game, make new friends, keep fit, and most importantly of all - have lots of FUN!

Marcus began coaching at the age of just 16. Since then he has had an eventful coaching career. After coaching in New Jersey, U.S.A for UK Elite Soccer, he became a community coach at local schools and colleges but most notably of all, has been coaching for Arsenal Soccer Schools across Cornwall since summer 2006.

He recently became Manager/Coach of Helston U10's youth
football team.

Marcus plays for Illogan FC, having previously played at Penzance FC, where he grabbed the headlines in local and regional newspapers such as The Cornishman and West Briton.

In July 2007, Marcus became a south west regional scout for Cardiff City FC. Development Centres in association with the Championship club will begin soon.
